Revolution? How revolting. A Poem for a lying piece of shit.
Vomit makes its way down the toilet bowl with several revolutions of water.
The center of your universe. The toilet bowl water swirls around you, a complete revolution. How many flushes will it take, when your lies are buoyant. Keep calling for a revolution with your shit eatin' grin. You should not try to form words. You can't tell the truth. You don't know how, you've never tried.

Oprah Winfrey: 'I'm Not a Lesbian' People.com
Here is Bill Clinton doing an impression of Oprah Winfrey on Comedy Central
Avoiding the near occasion of sin
When the Government provides for every whim and replaces God with their own exalted position.
When charity causes the sin of human respect.
Do we move closer to God?

Science and abortion
Since it is legal to use fetal tissue. Aka aborted body parts. Is the purity of the scientific method being adhered too?
Are we expected to believe science is taking what they can get?
We live in a time where a woman carry in her womb a child that is not genetically hers.
Are scientists using fetal tissue without knowing the genetics of the tissue? Is this an added layer in their research? Since we are expected to believe this tissue is coming from a waste bucket. We are expected to believe lab techs are sifting through looking for tissue that has begun to develop.
It would seem like an obvious benefit to have access to tissue that is further along in the development process. If the rape incest reason for abortion is the majority of available fetal tissue, that adds another layer of research. Trying to determine paternity and genetics of the fetal tissue. However it would seem more efficient to use egg bank/sperm bank donations to create a fetus that would later be aborted. The genetics would be established. I'm not sure how scientifically valuable incest tissue is.
I can see science wanting to work with tissue from people who had an established paternity. Specific hereditary or chronic conditions. To unlock mysteries of disease, and win the Nobel Prize.
I wonder if the conversation will ever get into any of these dark places. There is nothing preventing the public from knowing what science is doing with fetal tissue. Why isn't it being talked about?
Is there shame in the scientific community because they know they are purposefully harvesting fetal tissue?
Is the religious community preventing the conversation?
What has happened in the case of David Daleiden he successfully exposed the scientific community. The law is fully on the side of scientific use of fetal tissue. Why aren't the researchers wanting to speak candidly about their research to the general public?

Jerry Brown can't explain in plain English his gas tax increase
San Bernardino has managed to fund and build a modern bridge system. (And buy Apple I phones for health department workers...it's ironic how the one guy in the department who hated America managed to get one and he didn't even have a white privilege card is a wonderment.)
San Bernardino also managed to park a fire engine (just in time) on a crumbling road to claim it on their insurance. (Ding) new fire truck.
Please look over this way and you'll see Jerry Brown hop off the metrolink in Riverside to panhandle.
A career politician out of his cage someone get the tranq. dart loaded this feral beast is dangerous. Get him back in his cage.

“Whether it was the Roman Empire or the United States of America, roads are the key to a nation’s greatness,” Brown said
but he uses all his spare change to build a high speed Wabash Cannonball which isn't a road to greatness.

If you don't remember I'll remind you. It was California that assisted Jim Jones and The People's Temple. It was California money that was sent with those children to Guyana. Without anyone of those ghouls batting an eye about their well being. California even allowed one of their elected officials to be executed, because he cared enough to do his job.
Kamala Harris is off the charts scary. California just smiles and nods

It's sad
How the devil has you in his grasp. You can't speak the name Jesus the Christ. You lie like you know the truth. The truth can't get anywhere near you.

Sin of Human Respect same article different comments
I thought the Sin of Human Respect included praising a person without merit. This article however didn't include that as an example. I don't think it qualifies as the sin of omission. It would have been a fuller explanation. Reverent fear of God, not man.

A Catholic quickie?
https://www.ncronline.org/blogs/ncr-today/quickie-confirmation
Drive into a heavily Latino parish, probably in East L.A. There, you will find a visiting priest from Mexico who will give you a (very) condensed run-down of confirmation requirements, do a lovely blessing, sign a piece of paper -- and you are done. He gets a nice "donation" (which often gets sent back to the home parish, just like Fr. Figueroa).

Should California restore the grizzly?
read full article: http://www.recordnet.com/news/20160730/fitzgerald-should-california-restore-grizzly
The California grizzly bear, an awesome beast that once haunted the Delta, was driven to extinction in 1924. An enviro group wants to re-introduce them to the California wilds."Returning these incredible animals to remote portions of the state would be a key step in rewilding parts of California and saving one of America's most iconic animals," says The Center for Biological Diversity. The group has launched a pointed advertising campaign. It uses a blank California flag — there's just white space where the grizzly should be.
I support the idea. Crazy as it sounds.
Part of it is personal. How can I call myself a wilderness hiker if I reject real wilderness?
Part of it is — well, it's hypocrisy to heap contempt on water exporters who drove the San Joaquin River salmon extinct if we're OK with extinctions that suit us.
Part of it is they belong here. Up in the back country, the remote Sierra canyons, the snowy gorges of granite, pine and icy streams where they lived long before we arrived. That's better than flying a blank white flag.

The stupidity of almsgiving
During this time of Lent. Prayers, fasting and almsgiving. The times in my life I've chosen to participate in lent the hardest part for me is giving. I know this about myself. I haven't changed much. The tradition is strange and difficult. It causes turmoil. It could possibly be one of the most contentious things about Christianity, but it never gets discussed at all. A top secret, need to know topic? It creates shame, and grandiosity. Greed and envy. How can it be this topic manages to stay away from controversy.
