social study

Have you ever had someone not ask you a question, but become upset when you respond?

Have you ever had someone ask questions for the purpose of changing the topic, and then become upset because you don't answer?

Have you ever had a person say "what?" implying they didn't hear what you said and as you are repeating they say what you said because they actually heard you?

All these situations somehow are socially acceptable conversation techniques. How they aid in communicating, and civilized behavior when it is mostly aggravating.  If being civil means to ignore what makes one upset, the final result doesn't seem to better human relationships.
