Remake movies generally suck
Generations change. Social ideas change. Like putting new wine in old wine skins. When the entertainment industry remakes a movie it shows desperation. Over the weekend a news channel covered a story about a creepy looking structure built in Los Angeles to promote the remake of It. The house was sold and torn down because the hospital was expanding and the residential area was going to be turned into a hospital zone.
Way back in the last century I went to a meeting in Redlands with a city Mayor. The presentation was about eliminating vehicles from city limits. Building giant city centers with mixtures of residential and business and creating pathways through tree groves and parks. Where people would walk, to shop, or work, or school. It was all based on the premise that humans are good kind and gentle beings.
So now we have Tesla being presented as revolutionizing the auto industry by building a car that looks like a car. I don't know about anyone else but to me building a hovering vehicle would be revolutionizing the industry. Building an expensive golf cart and calling it a car is not earth shattering news. Hover craft or teleportation, now that would be taking things to a new dimension. Tesla sounds like it is being run by the same doofy mindset that brought us Pay Pal. The same people who ease their guilt by generously tipping the peasantry.
I'll continue to keep my interest focused on true matters. Like where will the Japanese dispose of the melted reactor cores their robots found. Silcon Valley is creating toxic waste. Silcon Valley has been using sweatshop labor and never gets hyper analyzed. The elites want interstate travel to be a luxury for them alone. The peasantry can live within the beautifully landscaped prison impound yards called cities. Not the future I imagined.

Over the weekend
While running errands. I waited while people took their time shopping and blocking the area I needed items. They seemed obilivious to the outside world. I'm all for spacing out. Anyhow no big deal. I don't remember when acting impatient and harried became the only option for social discourse. I amused myself thinking how everyone could be acting like they have something really important to get to. Living like characters in our own movie. I could have said Look, I'm in a big hurry. There is a serial killer trying to kill me. Today is a full moon. I need to get a few things just in case I survive the brutal attack. I need to get back home. He should be climbing through my unlocked window. I don't want to keep him waiting. He might leave and kill someone else. I'm a humanitarian.

He tired to grab the door handle as I passed.

I have the green turn arrow you can barely see this guy crossing until the next frame.

2. Germanisation and Resistance in Prussian Poland.
Intensive germanisation began after the establishment of the German Empire (Jan. 1871), with Bismarck's "Kulturkampf" (Cultural War) against the Catholic Church in the Empire, because the Catholic Center Party opposed many of his measures. At the same time, he believed that the Polish upper class (nobles) and the Catholic Church in Prussian Poland would always be anti-German, so he set out to limit the power of the church and germanise the schools. German lay teachers replaced Polish priests in the schools, and German became the language of instruction except for religion. The church was persecuted for refusing to comply with the government regulation that all priests have a high school certificate (roughly equivalent to a B.A. or B.S. today). This requirement was opposed by the church all over the Empire as an infringement on its independence from the state. However, it had special meaning in Poland, where catholicism was part of national identity. Polish priests went into hiding, so many Poles could only hear mass said by Polish priests in secrecy. Therefore, this regulation aroused great anger, strengthening Polish national consciousness vis-a-vis the Germans.
Another German attack on the Poles came on the land. In 1886, the Prussian government established the Colonization Commission. It received heavy government subsidies to buy up land from Poles and bring in German settlers.

Hillary Clinton blame list for why she lost

The disgust people feel imagining late term abortion. Could be removed if one of the aborted fetuses rose to fame for saving a life. Abortion advocates are going to find themselves in a powerful position playing God. Deciding who lives who dies. How long is too long for A human to be considered useful. The underlying issue is value. Does human life have value.
Abortion is not about womens rights, or womens healthcare. It is the value of fetal tissue. That is way there are laws governing fetal tissue.
