Miscellaneous stuff to write about

Last night I had to stop and get gas.  My tank was near empty.  I shut my car off at the pump was digging for my wallet.  A guy with a cart walks up pulling a cart and starts digging in the trashcan.  He was wearing a shirt that said: Alcatraz Psycho Ward.  I figured he had a sense of humor but didn't feel comfortable getting out of my car.  Another car pulled up to pump gas.  The guy left his cart and walked to the dumpster far away from the gas pumps.  I felt better about getting out.  I started to pump my gas and knew it would take a bit to fill the tank.  I started gathering up the empty water bottles in my car to give to the guy digging in the trash for recyclables.  I told him I was going to leave a few bags on his cart.  We started talking I asked him about his life.  He answered by choosing his words carefully.  I don't think he was trying hide anything, it sounded more like he had been thinking a long time about his life and wasn't accustomed to talking about it.  I have found over the years when I have talked with people who are drifters men generally have a lost love story a woman did me wrong type scenario.  Women generally are incoherent and usually their reality break comes from having their children taken from them.  I suggested it was a good idea to keep connected in some way because it is easy to get scattered and lost in thought.   Anyhow my night continued on. I saw a bunny outsmart a coyote.  I saw grayish white figure in an area near Divine Word Seminary that startled me.  It looked real until I realized my eyes were playing tricks on me.

There was an explosive confrontation in the parking.  I was waiting for a red light to change.  I saw two pairs of people approach each other.  One guy picked up something from the ground and threw it at the two guys walking in the picture on the sidewalk.  It was a full bag of french fries.  The french fries exploded on the two guys.  One was carrying an American flag with a broken pole. The two guys walking on the sidewalk carrying the American flag where assaulted with french fries.  It was bizarre.  The tension is building.

There's a group of guys working on something out front today.  A guy pulled up in a truck.  Walked over started taking pictures.  One of the guys in the group said no pictures I'm wanted in three States.  The guy taking the picture said, don't worry I'm wanted in four.

It's funny how times like this make me think, wow I could have done something with my life.

I work at a place that utilizes an aspect of the honor system.  No there isn't a can at the door where you put money if you feel like paying.  Anyhow without going into any details.  If a person walks out without paying we can tell.  Here in California the voters love criminals, so businesses have to be creative in how they handle cheap people that feel the world owes them.  Anyhow yesterday I encountered a pair of customers, who several months ago walked out without paying.  I remembered them.  They thought they were stealthy.  They thought they had the perfect charade.  They thought it was a day like any other day.  Until dunt dunt daaaaaaaaaaa.  I walked up the aisle parallel to them and met them near the door, smiling at them.  By the look on the faces they thought at first it was a strange coincidence.  They walked behind a display and peeked around to see me still standing there.  They walked to the other side and looked.  Yep still there.  They were quite baffled, and didn't even try to pretend like they were looking at items on the display.  Finally their mom walked up and they had a discussion among themselves.  The mom opened her purse long before she got to the register and started counting out her money.  Not typical behavior of a person accustomed to paying for items at the register.  Also it was strange how they all knew to meet each other at the exit door furthest from the register.

I think I know why slang sounds irritating

it's a Language that is monosyllabic. Not understanding the use of words makes it sound like ughs, and grunts. Hearing people talk like that is disturbing. I keep wanting to write a story and every time I think I have the idea to focus the story around it changes. Anyhow maybe someday.

I stopped a guy from walking out the door with a bag full of hundreds of dollars of merchandise this week.  It was dumb luck he didn't see my on the other side of the display.  He was walking to the door to pass off the bag to a guy waiting outside.  He saw me so he had to act like he was looking for me to ask a question.  He was still trying to maintain his I'm really shopping B.S.  He walked back to the aisle.  I approached him again and told him that bag looks heavy let me hold it at the register for you.  I grasped the strap slowly and he let go.  I had a hunch the girl was with him but they tried to pretend they didn't know each other.  I told her I would hold her bag too at the register.  They weren't really sure how to save face without blowing their 'we really are going to buy hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise this time really' act.  As they walked out the door the guy said sorry Ma'am something just came up we have to go.  6 months ago the guy looked normal and decent.  Said he just moved back to Hemet.  Now he is tangled up with this group of meth addicts and he looks lifeless.   The girl looks like she isn't skipping any meals, and she always wears a pink thong that is higher than the waistband.  She hasn't changed her underwear in 3 months.  Who knows maybe it's a tattoo.
I don't know how hardcore this group is, I'm sure they'll be back.  It's unnerving not knowing what they're capable of, or what they'll do next.  The girl acted like she was going to file a complaint against me with the company.  Who knows maybe I'll get fired because of criminal loving California laws.

Since then people in the area keep talking about it.  From what I've been able to determine it was at least 11 mile across.  Based on where the people I've spoken to said they were when it hit.  It hit hard and fast.  The wind was blowing in all directions. The wind made a strange howling noise.  I walked outside to listen because it was peculiar.  Outside the sound the wind made was like singing.   It was a sound I've never heard before.  Reminded me somewhat of the wind through the needles on a pine tree.  Only it didn't make the swish sound.  It was more like a high octave breathy hum.  Like the sound the air makes from a slightly opened window in a fast moving vehicle, only the wind was melodic and it sounded pleasant, and pretty.  The rain fell hard it sounded like hail.  Lots of thunder.  The sound of the wind for me was memorable.

I've been thinking about the future of retail.  You will need some sort of  account to conduct business. You'll have to log into an account and the transaction will be stored electronically.  Or just by passing through the door your id will be scanned with a time date stamp.  Anyhow I haven't really played with the idea much.   I'm just trying to decipher a strange dream I had recently.  The customer and employee where separated by a computer terminal.  Business was conducted through the computer not direct human to human contact.

Sometimes when you encounter a dynamic person it's impossible to not be affected by them.  Yesterday I experienced three dynamic men.  The energy level was changed immediately.  Masculine energy that is balanced is interesting because while it doesn't overwhelm it occupies a great deal of space.  It can be slightly intimidating but not terrorizing.  It creates well defined concepts and uncertainty.  It creates finality, and starting points.  It encapsulates and frees.  It's intriguing to experience.  Opposed to imbalanced masculine energy that creates terror, fear, destruction, confusion, dependency, and helplessness.  I didn't realize I was going to write any of this when I set out to create this post.

Something weird is happening

The past few years when a property sells in my neighborhood.  It just sits there vacant.  The property is maintained, but no one moves in.  When I look at the property tax website the mailing address is to another State but a few are for neighboring cities.  One property had a for sale sign on it more than a year.  Several people I know called to inquire about the property without any response. They are looking for investors not families to purchase homes here.

Recently in town I talked with a guy who was a strange character.  My immediate reaction to people I don't know. I automatically assume they are a serial killer.  After talking to him awhile, I was convinced he was a serial killer and he probably would have killed me if it weren't for all the witnesses.  Anyhow he was just odd.  To be odd and end up in Hemet shouldn't be such a surprise, but it was.  I'm sure talking to me was sobering because usually I ask numerous stupid questions and he couldn't get a word in edgewise.  He was trying to figure me out thinking he was saying the right things and the convo got awkward.  I'm sure he wanted to slash my throat but he knew it won't further his cause, or satisfy his need to kill.  He most liking mangled an ornamental shrubbery with his bowie knife after his encounter with me.

Anyhow something weird is happening. I just have to wait and see.

This morning before the sun came up my dog barked and barked.  I woke up to see what was out there.  I got a flashlight and walked to the fence thinking I'm going to see wild rabbits nibbling on plants along the road.  I point the flash light in the direction my dog was looking.  I see what looked like a large cat with a light around it's neck.  My brain is trying to solve the mystery, and I'm wondering why it's just sitting there looking at me.  I start thinking simultaneously why would someone put a light on a cat collar, and maybe it's some space creature come to kill me, the cat swallowed a light and needs my help, but how can I see through it's skin, it's here to kill me.  Finally it moves and turns I can see it's a Mylar balloon with just enough helium to keep it floating the light is coming from my flashlight reflection.  I go and get it, bring it in the yard so my dog can see what it is. He backs up and comes toward it sniffing.  He bites it and looks at it funny and walks away.

What Would Jesus Do?

A person I've known socially for 16 years, always says shocking things that sound like big exaggerations, but in reality they are true.  Anytime I've tried to talk to her about a former conversation she denies she ever said such and such.  Years ago when phone sex was common, she told me she was going to get into making amateur porn.  She said I'm an exhibitionist, I can't get into phone sex. I said with phone sex you could at least keep your day job, and carry on like a regular person.  I don't know if she ever made porn.  I think the relationship ended with the guy that had the porn connect.  Recently she told me her pussy is stretched so big she needs a duffel bag sized dick to feel anything.  She loves to play mind games with people she encounters, and can play most people because she's uses terms like hon, and babe.  I've even seen her use her boyfriend to entice weak minded women into feeling loved to get her way.  Some how in her bizarre malaise of an existence I have become public enemy number one.  She is trying create a nonexistent drama.  Mutual acquaintances seem to be enamored by her cavernous  vacuous vagina.  I can't call any of these people friends they are puppet like creatures that exist in nightmares.  I'm just waiting for the next sideshow performance when I encounter this social circle again.
I know I should just pray for them all, but what to say.  Jesus fill them with your joy.

Someone needs to hold his feet to the fire and make him explain what on earth he is talking about.  Throwing around the word Peace like some drugged out hippie.

Especially when he is calling beheaded and burned Christians modern day martyrs.

Last night at work I answered the phone.  The person on the line just sat there. I had to say hello twice before they spoke.  It was a man.  He said Oh hello.  Like he was distracted and hadn't realized anyone was on the line.  He said "I'd like to make a cross reference call."  I said "What is a cross reference call?"  He said I don't know.  I said "who were you trying to call?" He said Ray (some name I can't remember).  I said you called the wrong number.  I sat on the line quiet.  After 10 seconds I hung up.  Hours later I have a dream someone is telling me to come to the everlasting light.  I woke up thinking I was on the phone.

I've always gotten weird phone calls during strange times in my life.  Especially when something dynamic is about to happen.   I'm not clairvoyant. I never know what it means. I just know what it feels like when the real world starts to fade and I have to contend with spiritual matters.

I know I'm being asked to take the high road because right now it would be very easy for me to take the easy way I know so well.

Let's pretend someone creates a teleportation system.  Let's say in this pretend world I wanted to teleport a pizza to my location.  There would have to be a place to teleport the pizza from.  So anyhow I'm trying to get a sober look at a pretend world and it is taking on many levels trying to get a visual here.  So maybe I would need a teleportation recipe for pizza like put in the proportions of the size pizza I want.  And somewhere along the way there would need to be an oven.

Today I mowed down the dry dead plants that sprouted from the rain we had a few weeks back.  While walking back and forth I would see things darting around.  A lizard, a spider, a horned toad.  What looks to the neighbors like I'm lazy.  The fire Department sees a fire hazard.  To the little critters running for their lives it's home.  They like living in the weeds.  To them it's cover.  Living inside a fenced yard full of weeds is like a wild life preserve.  Later in the day a long skinny gopher snake laid across the driveway.  He looked like he hadn't eaten in awhile.  If he stayed in our yard he was okay.  If he went into the neighbors yard they would smash it and celebrate it's death walking it around on the end of a stick.  Showing the others that make weird over reactions to it being a snake -any snake-

I started thinking about the water crisis in California.  The gophers won't be eating as well which means the gophers snakes won't either.  The State of California is restricting water usage, but they won't be restricting new resident to the the State or new housing developments, or apartments to be built.  Which means more people in the Southern California desert.

A strange thing happened.  I realized I hate a few people, when I thought about each person trying to see if there is a common theme.  I realize it was because of something each person said to me.  It gave me an insight.  I figure by what they said I know what they are thinking about me.  I then thought of what I think of them and I think they are ignorant, and simple minded.  Now why should I hate some because I think they are stupid?  There is nothing they can do to change my mind, I will always think they are stupid.  So what is that I'm mad about?  It is that I can't tell them I think they are stupid.  At least now I can focus my energy correctly and come to terms with the issue.

How much value is there in rioting.  Money flows.  Why isn't anyone talking about this topic from that perspective? From the first broken window until the last piece of garbage is cleared away  It doesn't end there.  Rebuilding brings insurance claims, grant money.  From my point of view it looks like one giant insurance scam after another.

I don't think it's much fun stealing Made in China plastic goods.  One thing is for certain lawless mobs would never take over Hemet.  Not just because there are crappy Dollar Stores on every corner, but because Hemet residents wouldn't stand by idle and allow it.
