The Census Bureau sent out a census test

So I get this census bureau notice that says I have to complete this test.  It states in bold lettering:

                     Your response to the U.S. Census Bureau

                                   is required by law 

I got an id code that I entered on the website and answered a series of detailed questions.
The one that has me stumped is ethnicity.  I have to give details of  ancestral country of origin.   I've never had to give so much information on a census form before.


This is a test, this is only a test.   ha ha ha ha ha ha ha (the last few ha ha's slowed down to a deep drawn out stop)
