If we are going to do this let's do this...
I went to the Mall recently. I was surprised that department stores still separate clothing. Men's women's boy's girl's. I was also surprised that shirts were hung separate from pants. Neckties, socks, underwear and bras all had separate and distinct display areas. I look forward to the day I walk into a large department store and everything is chaotically strewn, or heaped in mixed piles around the floor. It's kinda insulting that department stores assume their customers are idiots and can't tell the difference between a pair of socks and t-shirts. Corporations shouldn't be allowed to play on our emotions, and create impulse buys. If a customer is looking for a dress they can tell the difference between that and a pair of men's slacks. They are preventing humans from the curiosity that comes with discovery. We should be able to root around a dig through piles of merchandise to find what we want, not some featured item of the week. Customers shouldn't be led by faddish dictates set up by fashion designers.
