The gay community and Anita Bryant

Anita Bryant is hated by the gay community but it's hard to figure out what the issue is.  She forced a national conversation about homosexuals.  Bringing them out of the shadows so to speak.  As a child I don't recall anything on the television about homosexuality, until Anita Bryant started a crusade.  It's funny to me that Anita Bryant gets lambasted for being homophobic, but gay fashion designers don't get blamed for bad fashion trends.   Women are just stupid and gullible for following crappy fads.

Decoupage fabric on canvas

I found this interesting fabric with giant images of sea creatures.  I pulled the warp and weft threads around this fish image.  I frayed each edge by removing several extra threads.  I mounted it on a stretched canvas by painting glue on the canvas then on the fabric. The blue is much darker to the naked eye, the digital replica couldn't capture.  There are a few other images on the fabric I plan to mount on to canvas.  This fabric reminded me of those scientific drawings that always fascinate me.

What the school didn't say:
We work hard to cultivate bullies to react in predictable ways.  If they are disciplined it will destroy the public school system.  The tried and true method of social engineering will no longer be a useful tool in controlling the masses.  We can not promote the individual, only the group.  We need to be able to predict the winners and losers, without that ability what use is a school, a community, a life?

I heard a TV commercial for an Los Angeles  based TV channel saying:

"We own local news"  I don't recall which station it was.  This is generational humor known as PWNed or pwnage.  

From a different time and on a much smaller scale. This is equivalent to:

or, saying to someone look under there without pointing in any direction.  When the person asks under where?... you say I made you say underwear.

The church merely is dealing with communities.  In other words the church has expectations.  The church expects certain groups of people to act certain predictable ways. What is available from the church in certain demographics, won't be available in other demographics.   No matter how hard anyone prays, it is human nature that doesn't change.

The sacrifice of the Mass is available everyday of the year throughout the world.

The couple lives outside of California and was on a ministry trip when they dropped Otto at the shelter.


There are givers and there are takers.  Givers only know how to give and takers only know how to take.  This couple didn't know how to ask for help. While they spend their time/money ministering to people.  Again I will ask: "How on earth can there be a community, a world mind when people move through their  own lives oblivious."
