San Bernardino County bought brand new iphone's in 2014? Why isn't this an issue being talked about? A health inspector needed a latest technology encrypted phone? Where did the money come from? Why did he need a phone like that?
How did the purchase go undetected? Two years after the city filed bankruptcy? I know City/County two different entities. Something is odd.

What a waste of money! Isn't poor budgeting what led them to bankruptcy? There are much cheaper full function phones. Waste, fraud and abuse is collapsing our economy. The government at work.
ReplyDeleteThe phone was purchased after the bankruptcy. Why did a health inspector need a phone like that? I'd love to see the agenda item that was voted on to approve the iphone purchase. See who approved the purchase. I'd love to the hear the story about: How many iphones they bought. Also what type of industry is in San Berdo that a Health Inspector needs such a high tech phone? Mice, roaches, fecal matter, toxic chemicals, mold, grease, oil. Someone needs to fill in the details.
