Quaker Oats Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 Cup(s) (1 stick) plus 6 tablespoons butter, softened
3/4 Cup(s) firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 Cup(s) granulated sugar
2 Eggs
1 Teaspoon(s) vanilla
1-1/2 Cup(s) all-purpose flour
1 Teaspoon(s) Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon(s) salt (optional)
3 Cup(s)
Quaker® Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
1 Cup(s) raisins

Cooking Instructions

Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Add oats and raisins; mix well. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes

no hose

Yesterday I saw a guy walking. He was carrying on his back one of those hose holders. You attach a hose and wind it up on the spindle. To keep your yard looking tidy.

I do realize this could have been just a person walking home after purchasing it. I saw it more as a statement of a modern male.

Would have been great if I could of snapped a picture. It might be a new trend, coming to a city near you.

Powdered peanut butter cookies

1 cup powdered peanut butter (I use PBFit or PB2)
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup oil
1 large egg
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Combine all ingredients using a hand mixer. Drop by teaspoons onto a Silpat or parchment lined baking sheet. Use a fork to score a criss-cross pattern on each cookie. Bake 12 minutes or until set. (Cookies will be soft and chewy).
