I was surprised when this guy walked into the store. He brought her (the skunk) to visit the checker who rang up my order.  The skunk was friendly and sniffed my hand with her pink nose.  Her fur was thick and course. She had a thinned patch on her back. I could sort of see her skin. It was pink like her nose.  Cool thing about skunks is their defense mechanism.  Mess with a skunk and you live with the consequences for 3-4 weeks.

Busy adults and curious children. Yesterday at work a small child playing by an opened door. His little arm fit through the gap created between the frame and door at the hinge. If the door would have closed it would have crushed his wrist.  

The adult was busy, the child was curious.  The image I saw was the door shutting on his little wrist.  I was horrified by what could of happened.
