A little bruising is okay with the State.  Too much and the employees and consumers have to go to anger management classes to learn where to hit the banana to minimize bruising but still inflict pain.

Saw these two signs tonight on the way home

The last one I added to demonstrate how the signs were posted on the road.

Children without families.  A family that cares.

NBC made a good choice of announcers

Terry Gannon was a good choice.  Lots of interesting chatter going on while skaters preformed.  Generally  putting women around a Johnny type personality they become brutish.  While a man can segue between  humor and testosterone seamlessly.

First lady Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday launched a vigorous counterattack on behalf of her husband's beleaguered presidency, declaring that the president is the victim of a "politically motivated" prosecutor allied with a "vast right-wing conspiracy."

U.S. Ambassadors

The story I've heard repeated on the media lately is how U.S. Ambassadors pay their way to being appointed.  It gives the impression that being an Ambassador is seen as a novelty, a whim.  Journalists (college educated crowd ) trivializing the death of  U.S.Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Internet comment I thought needed it's own Headline.

This comment could be the basis for an entire book.  Anyone trying to dismiss these facts are calling the Secret Service incompetent.

Sochi: Ice Dancing

The German team Alex Gazsi  and Nelli Zhiganshina performed to Le Jazz Hot (Victor Victoria). Would have been interesting if they performed with her dressed as a male dancing with a male.

Pa. vendor confirms link to Target data probe

PITTSBURGH — Minneapolis-based Target isn't commenting on reports that a Pittsburgh-area heating and refrigeration company is being investigated as the possible portal through which computer hackers stole credit card numbers from 40 million of the store's customers.
Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder says the 1,800-store chain isn't commenting because the investigation is ongoing.
Fazio Mechanical Services Inc., of Sharpsburg, has issued a statement saying it was the victim of a "sophisticated cyberattack operation" that is linked to the U.S. Secret Service investigation of the Target data breach.
Internet security bloggers identified the company as the third-party vendor through which hackers accessed Target's customer information. Target had previously told reporters the store believed hackers accessed customer information through a vendor's computer system.

CHICAGO: school officials want a kinder gentler sign

They don't want the red circle with a red line across an image of a gun.  They think it conveys the wrong message. They want a peace sign, flowers, puppies and kittens with the gentle reminder "Love is the answer"
They are going to promote this by giving a multiple choice test.  The test will include Love as an option for each question.  A sample question:
1000 x 1 =
A.   1
B.    1000
C.   all of the above
D.   none of the above
E.   Love
Whoever gets 100% will be honored at a Pep Rally.
