Did you know you could Yelp review a traffic signal/ intersection?

Also you can Yelp review a stretch of roadway?
I wonder Can a person Yelp review a Yelp reviewer?

I want to start a contest to see who can write the most ridiculous Yelp review. The winner would be whoever writes the most self absorbed review with grandiose and impossible demands.  A special award with be given for those that can include believable outrageous lies for shock value.

PSA run amok, Government Gone Wild

Smoking a cigarette is good compared to Second Hand smoke, Third hand smoke, and now cigarette butts have been determined to be by far the worst.  Cigarette butts out rank Nuclear fallout, Superfund sites, and Oil Spills.  Shove your head further up your butt campaign.

Staples to buy Office Depot

I just wanted to add a tidbit of information to this discussion.  I'm trying to buy a printer that works, between waiting for the first one to be shipped to the store for pickup, now waiting for the replacement to be sent.  I can't buy supplies for something I can't use.  Warehouses full of crappy merchandise can't be good for business.

From the country that brought human slavery to the New World

I don't feel sorry for people that taunt and torture animals for entertainment.  This is what happens when you bastardize a culture and steal it's traditions.  Ignorance becomes deadly because of a forgotten reality.  They never battled the Titans.

Maybe next year the crowd will be full of blood thirsty sociopaths that step back and allow the idiotic humans taunting the bulls to be dismembered to make a realistic video of the tradition they are playing footsies with.

My attitude, my bad attitude, me and my shitty outlook on my fellow humans

Yeah I got an attitude. So what no one cares. I'm not one to buck authority I usually just subtract myself from the equation.
I never bought music when I was kid.  One of my sisters had money and would buy music, music magazines, or go to concerts.  I listened to what was playing on the radio, or I would listen to what she had.  For a time my dad had a business he would buy, sell or trade albums, 8 tracks and cassettes.  My sister always played guitar or sang at various functions, or church.

I have a dear friend born into a musical family she has a unique voice and a powerful voice.  She sang in various local bands, she went on tour with a famous singer and his band.  Because her voice was far more dynamic than his he instructed his sound crew to keep her microphone level turned down.  She was even willing to go along with the nonsense just so she could perform because she loved the craft of singing.

I have watched since I was a child the bitter envy, and jealous antics of people involved in music and singing. Good talented people consumed by people that needed their name in lights, or parents needing to make their child a star.  I remember being in the school choir.  The director wanted me standing in the front row.  She was trying to force me to stand a certain way and hold my hands a certain way and point my toes in a certain direction.  She made me stay after class, and lectured me on being proper, and my attitude.  I asked her why do I have to stand in the front, why can't I stand in the back.  That ended our conversation quick.  She couldn't tell me it was because I knew the words, and I knew how to read the music.  I was supposed to humble myself in front of her hand picked wonder kids who's parents were big donors.

Funny thing about it when I went to a reunion I realized I still had the same attitude those people.

What goes around doesn't always mean anything

Watching.  Specifically watching things unfold from a certain point of view.  It doesn't mean anything but it is interesting.  I recall things that happened in the past.  I remember names of people that now are in high level places of society.  I remember going to a party at a house in a wealthy neighborhood.  It wasn't my circle of friends.  I didn't know anyone except the person who invited me.  The entire evening was a constant dramatic situation unfolding.  Jealous girlfriends, crying in one room, drunk guys punching each other on the front lawn.  The person I was relying on to give me a ride home was flaky, and I ended up asking a nice guy for a ride.  We stopped at a convenience store on the way home and the guy was going to steal a bottle of alcohol.  I told him "No don't." He said "I'm not like that anyway."  I think he thought we were going to think he was cool if he took it.  I don't know who owned the house where the party was held but the guy that threw the party wanted to remain anonymous.  I hadn't thought much of the group until one of the guy's pulled a gun on me and jokingly threatened to shoot me if I didn't do what he said.  I walked away from him as he laughed saying "I'm just messing around."  As years went by I learned bits and pieces about the groups of people that loosely mingled.  Their involvement in Church type endeavours, drugs, and social engineering scenarios defined a stark reality.  For me it was a new way to evaluate life.  I see the names of people showing up in political circles.   Now I can see why these people felt like they could do whatever they wanted because their anonymous friend was connected and now they're back in town.  Low level espionage perhaps?  It's the type of things movies are made, and books are written about.  Seeing it play out makes me wonder why they are trying to destroy civil society.  I can clearly see the false reality created by this strange way of doing business.

Enter, Rejoice, and Come in

My preference of worship music.  I think that being comfortable with how you sing praise to God is important.  I usually cringe when I enter a Mass and see a drum set and amplifier.   Just as alarming to me is when the singer sings 2 octaves higher than the sheet music, making it impossible to enjoy, or sing along.
There are some songs that are just enjoyable to sing at Mass.  I wish, or nevermind what I wish.  It's too depressing to even try to believe it would be possible.

Life has it's way

Last week was a trip and fall into a hot steamy pile of destiny.  Too many things happened all once.  Just allowing change to wash over me is how I opted to handle my new found point of view.  Time will tell what sticks and what washes off.  I'm not ready to define or label anything just yet.  All the planning in the world doesn't amount to anything when life has made plans for you.

Someone put and end to this stupid groundhog day tradition

First change the name to Pester-a -Groundhog day.  Here is a quote that shows just how absolutely idiotic this tradition is:

“It’s usually whichever groundhog is the least grouchy that day,” Morris said. “This is a time of year when genetics tell them to be hibernating. They can be in a bad mood.”

They should change the entire ceremony.  They should set it up like a giant whack-a-mole game and have elected officials pop their heads through and allow their constituents to take turns with a Nerf mallet.

"The way to understand power is by studying the silences where truth is not said is where power exercises its influence. "Robert Johnson

"very powerful people are telling us they're scared"

What are these very powerful people are scared of?

They are scared that the good people, the backbone of civilisation, the dependable, the predictable people of the planet earth will not rise to the challenge and try to help these very powerful people.  They are afraid these people will stand by and watch the chaos wash over by remaining silent.   These powerful people are not afraid of the ne'er do well's and criminals.  They have weapons, and tactical training to deal with those types.  They do not and never have had any say so over what good people think, feel or do.  Even criminals and ne'er do wells are afraid of good people because they have never had to develop any skill in dealing with them behaving any other why than predictable, and responsible.

I am waiting for televisions shows to glamorize animal abuse, and child abuse.  The standard set by Robert Johnson silence is where power exercises influence. That means animal abusers and child abuser are some off the most powerful people on the planet.

They could have a televised game show structured like American Idol.  Contestants can be given children and animals to abuse and Americans can pick their favorite.  Don't treat these powerful people like criminals treat them like hero's...Silent Hero's

To be a victim or not be a victim.

Yesterday at the grocery store.  A guy walked up behind me and stood really close.   When I turned to look at him he walked away and made a sort of forced laugh, tsk sound.  I watched him walk out of the store.  I had gotten into line.  I had a number of items in my cart too many to go through one of two express lanes.  I noticed the same guy walked back into the store and got in line behind me with one item.  He stood awkwardly close to me again.  There was nothing particularly strange about him other than how close he stood.  When the checker asked if I wanted help to my car I said  "Sure".  Who knows what that guy was or wasn't going to do.  I just didn't feel like being a possible victim yesterday.   Last time I was at this store I was approached by three different panhandlers.  I think I'll be getting help to my car from now on.  I don't like seeing Hemet becoming a Third World replica, but it is becoming harder to ignore.

Driving into the sun

I usually don't take side streets when driving through Hemet.  I did yesterday and came upon this accident.  It looked like a motorcycle with really long forks.  It could have been a bicycle made to look like a motorcycle.   The driver probably was blinded by the setting sun.  It's hard to see bicyclists, motorcyclists, and pedestrians.
I think I'll stay on Hwy 74 from now on.
