Highly developed antisocial behavior.
Intermittent naps during daylight hours.

dirt devil near Warren Rd. Hemet Calif

The perfectly shaped hill in the back with the symmetrical point stands out, amongst the rugged angles surrounding it, to my eye.

The ties that bind

Funny little things I see all the time and never pay much attention to.  Similair to life how familair things get taken for granted.

Guardian

Big Bear.  This mountain city is full of zest. People are aggressive and friendly. I'm sure angels can be anywhere. I think there's more for them to protect in the wilderness. Most cities have no use for nature or it's protectors

Hoover Dam The Photographs of Ben Glaha by Barbara Vilander

"Hoover Dam was constructed during one of the most depressed economic climates in American history, in a remote desert canyon where temperatures ranged from single to triple digits. In order to visually document the project, the Bureau of Reclamation assigned employee Ben Glaha to photograph all aspects of the dam's construction. Glaha's photographs were used in press releases, periodicals, books, pamphlets, and slide shows to demonstrate that the dam was structurally sound and that government funds were being used wisely."

Brace yourselves

From what I understand this will be the "new" center of Hemet. The Hwy 79 realignment will make passing through the valley easy.   The heavy equipment hasn't started breaking the ground.  This new sign was just recently posted.  It's making me wonder, what will happen to the coyotes that wander in the fields along Hwy 74, and the migrating egrets that pace back and forth hunting.  I've gotten used to seeing them, am always pleasantly surprised when I do.   The days are numbered, but I don't know how much time is left.  Change is always difficult.  This change will be monumental to the city of Hemet.  It'll be interesting to see what becomes of old Hemet.  There's been a concerted effort to maintain the integrity of 'Downtown'.  The best Hemet can do is provide a feeling of safety so people will get out of their cars in the city.  If they loose that battle, I don't know what will happen. I've gone back to visit places I used to feel safe, in other cities, but I was terrified to park and exit my car.

Men react to the 'new and improved moon'

When it's close to the horizon it looks just like I remember it as a young boy.

I don't see a difference, just leave the darn thing alone
